Fall Style: Skater Dresses

In preparation for Fall and Winter, closets must be restocked with warm essentials as well as something new that is in with the season's fashion.  Something that I always seem to need more of: dresses.  Who doesn't love wearing a new dress for the first time?  One of the best Fall styles of dresses is the skater dress.  If you don't know, skater dresses are almost a modernized A-line dress, seeing that both style's bottoms gently flare at the bottom, making the dress have an "A" shape.  I say that they are one of the best Fall styles because they are flattering on almost any body shape.  Here are a few of my favorites that I have found online recently.
Textured Knit Flare Belted Dress This dress is from http://www.agacistore.com/product.aspx?id=1274393&cid=1600&sid=1633.  I really like it because of its neckline and its color.  This shade of cobalt, called "cobalt mica blue," is very regal looking.

Trim Ponte Skater Dress: Charlotte Russe   This dress is from  http://www.charlotterusse.com/product/entity/dc/999999/243272.uts.  I like it because of its wine color and its bordered neckline.  Pairing it with a gold cuff and some neutral nails keeps this style looking classy.

Combat Boots and Style

I bought these combat boots from Macy's yesterday.  I don't know what it is about fashion that makes something seem fashionable one year and completely out of date the next.  For example:  last year when I was shopping for collared shirts for school, I could only find polos.  This year, I walked into the store and the only thing I saw was collared shirts.  Because they came into fashion, not only do I have more options of what to wear to school, but I feel like they're not strictly "school clothes," like khakis and a polo.  The same thing happened with these combat boots.  I've wanted a pair for a while now, but I had never seen them in the mall when I went.  But yesterday, there were at least three different displays with combat boots on them.  Not to mention that they were $30 off and had a 20% discount on top of that.  So not only is the new style of 2013 fashionable and practicable, but it is also becoming more affordable.
